The Impact³ x Cortex agent-based AI at the heart of procurement transformation
In late June 2026, POCKANN Consulting participated in two major events in the French procurement community: the Universités des Achats (UDA) on June 15 at the Porte de Versailles, followed by the 2026 Trophées des Achats awards on June 22 at the Théâtre Mogador. These two events confirmed a fundamental trend: the dramatic acceleration of the integration of artificial intelligence into the procurement function—no longer merely as an automation tool, but as a true driver of strategic transformation.
At the heart of the discussions, one approach in particular caught the attention of the procurement executives, CFOs, and consultants in attendance: the Impact³x Cortex method, developed by SWOTT and also deployed by POCKANN Consulting in its projects.
This approach combines a methodology proven over more than 15 years (Impact³) with next-generation agent-based AI (Cortex) capable of coordinating up to 80 specialized AI agents, each dedicated to a specific task within the procurement value chain: spend analysis, supplier segmentation, anomaly detection, scenario simulation, negotiation preparation, and KPI management.
2026 Procurement Conference: A Demonstration of the Cortex Deployment at the Rocher Group
At the 2026 Procurement Conference at Porte de Versailles, POCKANN Consulting participated in a presentation on the results of the Cortex solution’s deployment at the Rocher Group. This presentation provided a concrete illustration of how agent-based AI can profoundly transform the procurement function, shifting from a descriptive analysis approach to one focused on anticipation and recommendations.
Discussions with participants highlighted a growing interest in solutions capable of going beyond simple reporting. Procurement departments are now seeking tools capable of:
-
automatically consolidating heterogeneous data—augmented data management,
-
identifying performance drivers invisible in traditional systems,
-
and, above all, accelerating decision-making.
The Rocher Group case study made a particularly strong impression due to its ability to scale up procurement analysis while maintaining a high level of business-specific detail. The speakers admitted that, even after six months of deployment, they had not yet been able to fully leverage all the capabilities the tool could offer—such is the tool’s richness and, it must be said, sheer impressiveness!

2026 Procurement Awards: Recognition of Disruptive Innovation
A week later, at the Théâtre Mogador, the 2026 Trophées des Achats awards recognized this drive for innovation by awarding SWOTT the Gold Medal in the “Innovative Company” category, in competition with all other players in the industry.
This award, presented by peers, procurement executives, and industry experts, recognizes an innovative approach: the implementation of the Impact³ method—already well-known and recognized for its relevance and 360° perspective on procurement challenges—through a platform enhanced by agent-based AI: Cortex.
The benefit is no longer just a comprehensive and reproducible analysis aimed at achieving 3xPerformance—financial, social, and environmental. No, the challenge now is to achieve this in record time, with computational power that astounds even its creator—as the Cortex AI, through the intelligent orchestration of more than 80 of specialized agents, vastly expands the realm of possibilities in terms of solutions, implementation, and the ability to work continuously on the company’s data.
This award confirms a strong conviction held by POCKANN Consulting: the future of procurement rests on the combination of human expertise, structured methodology, and agent-based artificial intelligence. AI does not replace the procurement professional, but it amplifies their capabilities and accelerates processes.
These tools will also free up time for procurement departments to focus on supplier relationships, innovation, and planning for the future as the industry transitions.

An approach now integrated into All POCKANN Projects
Following these two events, POCKANN Consulting confirms the systematic integration of the Impact3 x Cortex method into all of its consulting engagements.
This approach is now being implemented for clients across a variety of sectors, with a particular focus on the agri-food, fishing, and aquaculture industries, where the challenges are immense and the solutions are equally so. Beyond cost reduction, this method enables the development of a true 3xPerformance strategy, combining:
-
economic performance (cost optimization),
-
social performance (working conditions, equity, human rights),
-
environmental performance (decarbonization, natural resources, pollution).
In a context where procurement departments must simultaneously secure supplies, improve competitiveness, and accelerate the transition to sustainability, POCKANN Consulting now positions agent-based AI and the Impact³ x Cortex method as a concrete catalyst for transformation.
A new era is dawning: that of augmented procurement—driven by data, structured by the method, and amplified by artificial intelligence.
